Postdoctoral Fellow in Innovation Studies



The TIK Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture at the University of Oslo (UiO) invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Innovation Studies. The position is part of a new four-year research project entitled “Sustainable path creation for innovative value chains for organic waste products (SusValueWaste)”.The recruited postdoctoral fellow will work in a large multidisciplinary project team. The candidate is expected to do research work of relevance to the project including data collection (survey data, interviews or statistical data), literature reviews, empirical analyses and theoretical modeling work. The topics of the candidate’s postdoctoral work must have strong relevance for and be closely related to the SusValueWaste research project.


Candidates must have a Ph.D. in innovation studies (or relevant related disciplines within the social sciences). Applicants must have excellent written and oral proficiency in Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and English. Successful candidates must have documented knowledge and strong interest in the development of innovation research theoretically (e.g. theoretical modelling and simulation analysis), as well as demonstrated experience in relevant areas of empirical research.
