Triple Helix

The Triple Helix mission today plays a crucial role in fostering new advances in terms of RD&I and entrepreneurial activity, with particular importance for the dynamic and competitive positioning of regional ecosystems. New contributions are expected as well as cooperative solutions involving local and regional actors from the Academia, Business, Regional and Local Governments, and other representatives of society, opening new cooperation avenues for inter-regional ecosystems in order to achieve new competitive and sustainable levels in the global market. In this context, the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco is organizing an International Conference on Regional Triple Helix Dynamics, to be held at Castelo Branco, Portugal from 29th June to 1st July, 2016


Abstract submission is open to different topics: Regional Triple Helix Ecosystems and Internationalization; Triple Helix interactions in less favoured regions; Comparison of best practices among regional Triple Helix spaces; Attracting human resources for regional research and innovation and counteracting brain drain; Government policies for companies and higher education institutions; Triple Helix case studies; Indicators/Measurement of Triple Helix interactions and dynamics; among others.


The deadline for full paper submissions is April 15th, 2016.
