Call for papers “Workshop on Industrial Policies and Development”

The Research Institute for Development, Growth and Economics (RIDGE), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina (MINCyT), and the Interdisciplinary Institute of Political Economy of Buenos Aires (IIEP-BAIRES), are pleased to announce a call for papers for a Workshop on Industrial Policies and Development, to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 18^th to 19^th December 2015. Submission closing date: August 31^st, 2015.

Topics of interest include: industrial and technology policy; human capital formation; macroeconomic policy, exchange rate, growth and industrial policy; business dynamics, productivity, innovation; clusters and SMEs; financial development; foreign direct investment; industrial development policies assessment; commercial policy, regional integration, among others.

Furthermore, the workshop will include a keynote lecture by Joseph Stiglitz, and two round tables on industrial policy and development issues in Argentina and Latin America.
