The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) launched on 2013 a scheme for proposals named “Open Partnership Joint Projects/Seminars” that provides Japanese researchers an opportunity to conduct research/seminar with researchers around the world who reside in a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan. The call for proposals for FY2015 is now open. Participants from counterpart country might be researchers at a university or research institute in the subject country (there is no limitation on number of participants). Research subject areas include: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Applications should be submitted between 8 December 2014 and 4 February 2015.
