STIPA has a joint secretariat exerted by the Technology and Policy Assessment Center of and the Colombian Observatory of Science and Technology.

The Technology Policy and Assessment Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology is a policy research team developing ways to shape innovation for global development. We do future-oriented analysis of technological change centering on equity, equality, and basic needs.

The Colombian Observatory of Science and Technology is an institution of the Science, Technology and innovation National System of Colombia oriented to produce knowledge about the system dynamics and positioning through the design, production, integration, interpretation and diffusion of statistics and indicators in order to guide and evaluate policies and actions of several actors of the system.
